I like the icon of Irenaeus.
You should have your historical theology class do a project on the use of icons and have them create an one of their favorite Church of God saint or campmeeting preacher (or at least describe what the icon should look like).
Great idea about the COG icon! Corky and I once thought of doing a series like "Muppet Babies" called "General Assembly Babies" with Little Ray H., Little Paul Laverne, etc. But the icon idea has more dignity somehow.
