Being Marmie

For the last two days we've had the ultimate grandparent experiencee: keeping the grandson overnight! What a joy! Hope and Josh have taken the youth group to King's Island in Ohio. Emma is with them. And we have Lex (and Charlotte, the dalmatian). He slept pretty well last night, though of course I woke up with every turn he made. Just like the old days (speaking of old...I was a lot younger then).

AWWW, he's adorable. I bet you guys had a ball!!
MAN, I'm so behind on my blogging and reading blogs. Worked extra last week. (I have witnesses.LOL)
Let's see....yep I believe in global warming. We humans wreak havoc!
Uh, nice summer reading list. I don't get to as many books as I'd like and for some reason I ususally end up reading more about counseling! Currently, Pathways to Change (brief therapeutic interventions for adolescents).
I did however pick up a copy of Revenge of the Middle Aged Woman at the new USED book store here in Cleveland because I thought the title sounded like fun. Today I read about 5 chapters while waiting on my beautician. Well, it certainly isn't too "heady" or academic and it's setting is England. Nice.
Loved the article about Mike Feree!! GREAT stuff. OH< and wow, I've seen the Batcave but wondered who it was. That is pretty cool. Like you said before the blog is a great way of communicating and you're communicating loooong distances too.
Keep up the good blogs. Maybe I'll get one or two up soon!
